"I'm afraid of Tibetans", said a Chinese seriously.
He came from a rural area of Sichuan province to Chamdo
and ran a small dumpling restaurant with his wife.
"One Tibetan guy got angry, brandishing his knife when I didn't understand what he said in Tibetan.
Another guy didn't pay money, complaining my dumplings didn't suited his taste".
He had learned some Tibetan language
after living for two years in Chamdo.

But his immigrant life was coming to the end soon. His child would reach the school age.
"We can go back home by next New Year. We'll never be back here. We want our child to go to school in inner-China".
He gave me a Tibetan knife as a gift, saying "in memory of your travel in 'China'!".
